Project template
A twelve-month wedding plan that carries the day from date and budget through venue, vendors, the guest list, RSVPs, and the final headcount and seating.
Overview
A wedding is a large project against a fixed date. A plan keeps the budget, venue, vendors, and guest list on schedule so the year leading up to the day is organized rather than frantic.
This template is the built-in Wedding Planning starter project in Atlas. It ships with a twelve-month sequence of milestones and a short RAID log covering the risks that most often arise, such as a vendor cancelling close to the date.
Because it is a live Atlas project, the save-the-dates, invitations, and RSVP cutoff are tracked tasks with dates, so nothing slips as the day approaches.
What is included
A milestone to set the date and budget so every later decision has a frame.
Steps to book the venue and the caterer and photographer.
Milestones for save-the-dates, invitations, and the RSVP cutoff.
Milestones for the final headcount and seating and for the wedding day itself.
Risks such as a vendor cancelling near the date, with a mitigation to keep a backup list.

Complete the date and budget milestone so the rest of the plan is grounded.
