Whiteboards

Whiteboards is a gallery of shared boards for the thinking that resists a document: a system sketched during a call, a workshop laid out in sticky notes, an architecture argued out in boxes and arrows. Create a board, open it, and what you draw is saved as you go, so there is nothing to remember to press. Boards are shared rather than personal, which is the difference between this and Canvas: a whiteboard is a place a team draws together, while Canvas is your own arrangement of your own tasks.

Do I need to save?

No. Everything you draw is persisted as you work, so there is no save button to forget and no way to lose a board by closing the tab.

Who can see my board?

Your workspace. Boards are shared rather than personal, which is what makes them useful and worth remembering before you sketch something sensitive.

How is this different from Canvas?

Canvas arranges your own tasks in your own space. A whiteboard is an empty shared surface for drawing with other people, and nothing on it is a task.

Should I use this or Diagram Studio?

A whiteboard for thinking that is temporary and collaborative. Diagram Studio for a structured diagram you intend to keep, maintain and export.
