Daily briefing takes what today actually holds, which is your tasks, your calendar and your habits, and writes it as a short piece of plain English rather than three lists to reconcile in your head. The same script is on the screen as text and can be spoken aloud by your browser, so it works while you are making coffee and equally while you are skimming it at a desk. It is a reading of the day rather than a place to act, which is deliberate: nothing here changes a task, so it can be listened to without attention.

Is my day sent somewhere to be read aloud?

No. Speech happens in your browser using your device's voices. Nothing about your day leaves Atlas to be spoken.

My browser has no play control. Why?

Because it does not support speech. The full script is still on the page, and the controls swap to an advisory rather than pretending to work.

Can I act from the briefing?

No, deliberately. It reads and never writes, which is what makes it safe to listen to while doing something else.
